Marissa & Dayton’s day was filled with the brightest details, and the setting could not have been more perfect for a summer wedding. With their ceremony overlooking the lake at The Shoreby Club, the day immediately felt like summer at its peak. Guests gathered outside to witness the couple exchange vows under a large vibrant floral arch.
The ceremony aisle was customized with a light blue runner and lined with bright-colored flowers leading to the stunning arch where the couple said “I do.” Every floral felt perfectly placed, creating a ceremony setting that was full of personality.
Cocktail hour moved to the lawn where guests gathered to enjoy the sunshine, laughter, and celebration. As guests entered the reception, the light blue color theme continued throughout the space, tying all of the details together beautifully. We love how the tables featured mismatched light blue linens from L’Nique Linens, creating a layered and intentional look. Light blue glassware and coordinating menu cards added even more thoughtful details to each table. A wedding table set up of our dreams!
The centerpieces were the true showstoppers. Large floral arrangements by Plantscaping and Blooms brought the reception to life with pink peonies, soft blues, bright oranges, and white blooms. The colors felt vibrant and joyful, perfectly reflecting Marissa & Dayton’s love and energy of their day!
Another favorite was the sweetest limoncello tower, complete with little bottles of limoncello for guests to take home. It was the perfect addition to this bright, summer celebration and a fun favor guests could enjoy later remembering the day.
The reception was filled with dancing, laughter, and plenty of fun, with live music keeping the celebration going. The stage was surrounded by even more gorgeous florals, creating a whimsical, garden-inspired moment.
Of course the photography by Jenny Haas captured every bit of the day beautifully. From candid black-and-white moments of the couple cutting their cake to the intricate details and floral installations, the gallery perfectly captured the bright, happy feeling that made this wedding so special.
From the lakefront ceremony to the colorful blooms, thoughtful details, and packed dance floor, Marissa & Dayton’s wedding was everything a summer celebration should be: bright, joyful, romantic, and completely full of life.
