Wed Society’s Fall Signature Social at Mapleside

Last week some of the most talented wedding professionals gathered for an evening full of connection and some surprise fall fun. Our Fall Signature Social at The Social House at Mapleside Farms was everything we love about bringing the Wed Society community together! Inspired by the charm of a speakeasy library, the evening blended elevated details, delicious food and drinks, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow local wedding professionals.

The evening began with a fun twist: guests brought a book as their “password” to enter the speakeasy library. What made this detail so special was that the books collected are going to support The Kids Book Bank through our Wed Society Cares initiative coming up later this month. We love when a creative event detail can also make a meaningful impact in our community.

Of course, no Signature Social is complete without incredible food and drinks! The Social House at Mapleside delivered an unforgettable spread, with delicious whipped feta, beautiful Mapleside boards featuring a delicious selection of meats and cheeses, flatbreads and bites that had everyone coming back for more. The Social House restaurant menu is amazing-we highly recommend you come back for dinner!

The drinks were so perfect for the season. Mapleside Mules made with crisp apple cider brought all the cozy fall flavors, creating the ideal pairing for an afternoon of mingling, conversation, and connection. They even had a fun Blackberry Smash mocktail and Mapleside’s very own cider and wine.

Sugar Shananigans served up the most delicious tiramisu in the cutest cocktail glasses, beautifully displayed alongside the bar on a stunning CLE Champagne and Celebration wall for guests to grab and enjoy! From the presentation to the flavors, every detail felt thoughtful and elevated. The ambiance was truly perfect for the fall evening. Live piano music by Arabesque Strings Ensemble filled the space with an elegant soundtrack, while live Art By Lilly Isgro added a creative touch that made the evening feel even more memorable.

With the speakeasy-library inspiration woven throughout the event, the combination of music, art, and beautiful surroundings created a setting that felt sophisticated and inviting. We even had a gold mirror photo booth from Selective Sound Events that fit seamlessly into the aesthetic of the space, such a fun stylish way for guests to capture the night! Kelly from The Home Video Co. brought an extra layer of fun to the evening, mingling with guests and asking playful questions on camera. It was such a creative way to spark conversation, get people connecting, and capture the personalities and memorable moments of the night.

Guests had so much fun catching up with familiar faces, meeting new members of the wedding community, and building meaningful connections. These moments are exactly why we love hosting Signature Socials. Beyond the beautiful details, these gatherings create space for local wedding professionals to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the incredible work happening throughout Northeast Ohio.

Just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, we were surprised with the sweetest way to wrap up the night: a hayride! Guests enjoyed fresh apple cider and warm apple cider donuts, bringing all the nostalgic fall vibes to the end of an already wonderful evening. And because a little fun is always welcome, guests even took a ride down the big slide at Mapleside.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, helped bring the evening to life, and contributed books to support The Kids’ Book Bank. A special thank you to The Social House at Mapleside for hosting such a wonderful gathering and helping us create an evening filled with delicious food, beautiful details, and unforgettable fall memories. And a special thank you to Eileen Potts Photography for capturing the evening so beautifully, documenting every detail and candid moment with such an artful eye. From the event details to the fun fall festivities, her photos perfectly tell the story of a night to remember.

We can’t wait to gather with our Wed Society community again soon!
