This month, we are so excited to present our August 2025 Vows That Wow and highlight Isabel & Henry’s beautiful wedding day.
The Wedding Day
Isabel and Henry’s wedding was the kind of celebration that lives in memories like a beautiful storybook-graceful, heartfelt, and undeniably timeless. From equestrian elegance to meaningful personal touches, every detail reflected the couple’s refined style and deep love for one another.
The day began with a picturesque outdoor ceremony at Saint Christopher by the River, where guests gathered beneath sunny skies on a warm July afternoon. To provide both shade and charm, delicate parasols were offered to guests, creating a serene and stylish ambiance that echoed the elegance of the entire affair. The day was captured perfectly by Emily Millay Photography. Isabel states, “Emily was a joy to work with, from our engagement shoot, to our rehearsal dinner, to the entire wedding day and night where she captured our memories dreamily. She is professional, personable, and has a way with making people feel relaxed so the pictures come out natural and beautiful. She is also simply so much fun to be around and will be your biggest hype girl on your big day!!!”
Then came the showstopping moment: Isabel arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, a vision of grace and beauty, her hand held by her father-the man who had raised her with unwavering love. As the carriage slowed, Isabel stepped down, smiling through tears, and walked hand-in-hand with her father down the aisle.
Isabel & Henry’s Favorite Moment
Reflecting on the day, Isabel shares, “It is impossible to pick simply one favorite memory, but I will forever cherish the happiest moment of my life, where I stepped off my fairy-tale horse and carriage, guided by my father, the incredible father that raised me as a single-parent, as we walked hand-in-hand, me smiling through happy tears, toward the man that was to be my husband, our family’s protector, and the greatest joy of my life. It was that moment I had dreamed of all my life; the feelings of gratitude, splendor, and happiness engulfed me as I felt everyone’s love envelope us as they bore witness to our marriage that day and the realization I felt like the luckiest girl to be marrying the love of my life… those feelings were greater than I ever imagined.”
The Charm Continues with Every Detail
The celebration continued at the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club, a venue that could not have been more fitting. Surrounded by lush countryside, classic equestrian charm, and old-world architecture, it was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s timeless aesthetic. Every detail was infused with personal meaning from the signature cocktails named after their beloved dogs, Lottie and Judge, to the custom coozies and cookies featuring their beloved pups as guest favors. Lottie and Judge weren’t just part of the décor, they were part of the ceremony itself, such a perfect personal touch.
Chagrin Valley Hunt Club prepared a delicious plated meal for guests. The cake and cookies were specially prepared by Lizzie’s Nut-Free Bakery in Shaker Heights, with careful attention to the groom’s nut allergy. The night ended with Isabel changing into a stunning reception dress perfect for dancing the night away with their families. Guests wore heart-shaped sunglasses and had glowsticks as a playful touch to light up the dance floor.
