From the moment Alex began planning her wedding, she had a crystal-clear vision: a modern, minimal, and elegant celebration set against a neutral palette, where every detail would feel intentional, sophisticated, and serene. Set on the grounds of her family’s private residence, this intimate affair was not only stunning in its aesthetic but also deeply personal.
We loved how the wedding struck the perfect balance of trendy and timeless-from the chic matchbox favors and the mirrored photo moment for guests, to the thoughtfully placed floral displays that effortlessly complemented the natural surroundings. One of our favorite design elements was the long candlelit tables, which brought a warm, intimate glow and elevated the overall sense of modern elegance.
Kirkbrides Wedding Planning and Design speaks on the details of the day, “Florals were especially important to the bride. She wanted the floral design to be simple yet impactful and interesting. All of the florals should organically fold into the natural and unique design of the space. Alex also wanted lots of candles for the dining tables to create an intimate, warm dining experience.
The seating wall was accented with stones that were collected from around the property, another way in which the natural landscape of Alex’s family home was able to be used in the wedding design.
After dinner, guests were treated to several unique and super fun food displays: flambe donuts, candy (pink starburst are the bride’s favorite), mini desserts and cake bites, and local-favorite Swensons for late-night bites. Guests also loved the oyster shuckers at cocktail hour!”
The Schroeders had a grand finale to start their new beginning-an epic fireworks display. What is more magical than that!?
