We always love to see a stand-out bridesmaid dress color, especially one that really pulls the aesthetic together. The steel blue bridesmaid dresses were such a beautiful choice for a June wedding. The soft, sophisticated shade felt fresh for the season, complemented the overall look of the day, and offered a gorgeous alternative to the colors we see time and time again.
Also, can we talk about the bride’s gown?! The long lace sleeves added the prettiest romantic touch, creating a classic bridal look that felt elegant from every angle and still perfectly suited for a June wedding.
The ceremony was filled with so many sweet moments, each one special in its own way. We loved the ribbon send-off, with friends and family lining the church steps to celebrate the newlyweds as they made their way outside. Kelly also took the time to capture the most stunning portraits inside the church, highlighting the beauty of the space and the significance of the moment they shared there. Such timeless photos they’ll treasure forever!
If there’s one thing you should always make time for, it’s golden hour portraits. You will never regret it! The Murphys’ photos on the golf course were absolutely stunning, with that dreamy evening light adding the perfect finishing touch to an already beautiful day.
Another fun photo spot was the speakeasy. Such a fun addition to their gallery! We love when couples incorporate different settings and moments throughout their wedding day to create a collection of photos that feels uniquely theirs.
The reception was everything we love about a timeless wedding design. A bright, beautiful room, tables set to perfection, and elegant white and gold accents created a look that felt refined. The black and white seating chart and signage were another detail we couldn’t get enough of. Clean, classic, and effortlessly chic, everything felt cohesive.
While the design details were certainly worth swooning over, one of our favorite things about the Murphys’ wedding was the genuine happiness you could just feel through the gallery. Photo after photo, there were laughs, big smiles, and moments shared with the people who mean the most. This is exactly what a wedding day should look like! The pretty details make a wedding beautiful, but the people and the memories are what make it unforgettable.
Of course, the celebration didn’t stop at the reception details! The Murphys and their guests brought the energy to the dance floor. And of course no Northeast Ohio wedding would be complete without the Youngstown traditional cookie table! For those who get it-get it. This beloved local tradition allows family and friends to take part in your day by baking and sharing an incredible assortment of cookies. This creates a table filled with delicious homemade treats and so many options for guests to enjoy. It’s a sweet tradition that carries so much meaning, and we love seeing couples make it part of their celebration.
And not to worry, there was a traditional cake cutting, too! A beautiful tiered wedding cake was the perfect classic touch to round out the dessert display.
