Clarice and Jake’s wedding day was set on a gorgeous August day. Their wedding combined classic elegance with playful, personal touches.
The day began with a traditional ceremony that perfectly reflected the couple’s style-romantic, meaningful, and beautifully refined. Clarice looked absolutely stunning in a lace gown featuring modern long lace sleeves that added a sophisticated and timeless feel for the ceremony. Later in the evening, she transformed the look by removing the sleeves, creating a second style for the reception that felt effortlessly chic. Jake complemented her perfectly in a classic black tuxedo paired with a bowtie, a look that never goes out of style.
One of the most eye-catching details throughout the day was the floral design. Gorgeous lilies were woven throughout the celebration, adding an elegant and fresh touch to the overall aesthetic. The soft florals paired beautifully with the warm summer atmosphere and the natural light that made the couple’s outdoor portraits especially breathtaking.
Instead of a traditional program, Clarice and Jake designed a custom newspaper-style guide for the day’s order of events. It was both stylish and fun for guests to read through while learning more about the couple and what the evening had in store.
When it came time to celebrate, the reception truly came to life. Guests were treated to an incredible dining experience by Taste of Excellence, whose catering brought delicious flavors and elevated presentation to the evening. One of the biggest hits of the night was the interactive blackjack table the couple set up during the reception. The casino-style experience gave guests a fun way to mingle, laugh, and enjoy a little friendly competition throughout the evening. It was such a memorable addition and kept the energy high all night long. We love this unique touch and we know guests will be talking about this one for a long time!
Take note of a trend we love-Clarice had her wedding date delicately painted onto her thumbnail by her nail artist. It was such a fun and subtle detail something she could glance down at throughout the day as a tiny reminder of the moment she had been dreaming about!
