Like Coffee & Ice Cream: Hailey & Tommy’s Sweet Love Story
There is so much to love about this elegant wedding. Everything felt elevated yet simple, with a timeless style brought to life through neutral colors and thoughtful, meaningful details. From the florals by Molly Taylor and Co. to the food, the warmth and love of the day could be felt in every element.
We especially love the personal touches that made the celebration feel so welcoming, including a coffee cart for guests to enjoy and Ohio classic Mitchell’s ice cream for dessert. And the food from Spice Catering Co. was nothing short of extraordinary-beautifully presented, delicious, and another standout detail of the day.
Elevated, classy, and incredibly personal, this is a wedding we won’t soon forget. Everything was captured with artistry by Emily Millay Photography. Their beautiful love story was shared with us by their planner at Oak + Honey Event Planning Co, and it’s one we couldn’t wait to share.
“Tommy and Hailey’s story began freshman year of college, sitting side by side in a music and art class without knowing how significant that moment would become. What started as an easy friendship slowly evolved into something deeper as the years went on. Their shared love of creativity made the Cleveland Art Museum the ideal place for their engagement, where Tommy got down on one knee and asked Hailey to spend forever with him. It was simple, thoughtful, and exactly right for a couple who has always found beauty in the understated moments.
Their June wedding was built around that same sense of simplicity and warmth, brought to life with soft neutrals, classic style, and the joy of 230 loved ones gathered together. They chose a unique location for their wedding day- the family’s greenhouse. The large open space provided the perfect blank canvas for their nature-inspired wedding, using florals all grown in the greenhouses. Tommy and Hailey exchanged vows beneath a sweeping floral and greenery arch that framed them in soft neutrals—a structure later repurposed to anchor their head table. For dinner, a breathtaking hanging orchid installation hovered over the dance floor, filling the room with movement and texture as guests gathered at family-style tables buzzing with laughter. Their classic one-layer white cake was a perfect understated moment before the night unfolded into pure celebration. And to end the evening, an incredible fireworks show lit up the sky as they made their sendoff. It was a dazzling finale to a day rooted in love and the beauty of keeping things timeless.”
