On a snowy winter evening in Cleveland, Wed Society Cleveland + Northeast Ohio gathered our members for our inaugural Signature Social, and what a night it was! Held in the intimate and moody Rosehip Room, The Elliot’s hidden speakeasy bar, the space welcomed us in from the cold and instantly set the tone for an unforgettable evening of connection, celebration, and inspiration.

Our Signature Social is an annual event designed exclusively for our members-a time for wedding professionals to come together, network, reflect, and celebrate the incredible work they do within our community. This first gathering was everything we hoped for and more.

A Warm, Wintery Speakeasy Vibe

The Rosehip Room proved to be the perfect backdrop for a winter evening in Cleveland. With its cozy ambiance, craft cocktails, and speakeasy charm, the space encouraged conversation and connection as members mingled, sipped, and settled in for the night ahead. The atmosphere was elevated even further by Molly Taylor and Co, whose stunning floral arrangements featured romantic, moody winter tones that beautifully complemented the speakeasy aesthetic.

A highlight of the evening was our panel discussion, thoughtfully led by Kim McBee, owner of Wed Society Cleveland + Northeast Ohio. Kim guided the conversation with insightful questions designed to spark reflection and share valuable business wisdom among fellow wedding professionals.

Our panelists included:

Guests also had the opportunity to hear the inspiring story of how Wed Society was founded 19 years ago, making for a meaningful moment of reflection on growth, community, and the power of connection within the wedding industry.

A Night to Remember, Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

The evening was filled with memorable experiences at every turn. Guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres from A Taste of Excellence, followed by a sweet surprise-a walking cannoli station that was as delightful as it was delicious.

Entertainment was in full swing thanks to Cleveland Keys, who brought the energy with a dueling piano performance, taking live requests and keeping the room buzzing with laughter and music all night long.

Members also enjoyed live fashion illustrations by Diana Komjati, an incredible talent whose artwork doubled as a meaningful keepsake from the evening. Sugarbooth’s glam photo booth added even more fun, giving guests a chance to commemorate the night with stylish snapshots.

Every special moment was beautifully photographed by Emily Millay Photography, while Victoria from VM Creative Co captured behind-the-scenes content and the overall vibe of the evening, ensuring the magic lives on long after the night ended.

Our inaugural Signature Social was truly a celebration of our members, our community, and the talented wedding professionals who make Cleveland + Northeast Ohio such a vibrant place to work and create. We are beyond grateful for this community and feel so honored to gather, connect, and celebrate together.

And this is just the beginning!

Looking Ahead

We are already looking forward to our next event: the launch of our first Book of Weddings this July, right here in Cleveland + Northeast Ohio. We cannot wait to continue highlighting and sharing the incredible talent within our community.

Cheers to connection, creativity, and many more celebrations to come.
