Cori and Barrett’s wedding day was the definition of a sweet outdoor fairytale—intimate, colorful, and filled with whimsical details. Set beneath the trees in a garden setting, their ceremony and reception embraced nature in the most romantic way, creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and inviting.
One of the most meaningful moments of the day unfolded during the ceremony, officiated by Barrett’s father. He shared heartfelt stories from the couple’s early days, including the detail that Cori and Barrett’s very first date took place beneath a silver maple tree. The most beautiful part is that the couple exchanged vows beneath a silver maple tree as well—an incredibly symbolic, full-circle moment that made the ceremony even more special!
Every detail of the day was artfully captured by Eileen Potts Photography, whose soft, romantic approach highlighted both the emotion and the design of the celebration. From dainty flat lays to candid moments, the photography perfectly showcased the whimsical nature of the day. Thoughtful touches like the forest green ring holder and carefully styled dainty detail shots added layers of charm and elegance to the visual story.
We also loved the lush florals, especially the statement dahlia that was in the bride’s stunning bouquet and bright floral colors that brought the garden party vision to life. One of our favorite design moments was the reception seating. Cori & Barrett had elevated picnic tables dressed with florals that felt both relaxed and refined. At each table, guests were welcomed with cozy blankets a fun “to have and to hold” moment – a sentimental and functional detail that perfectly matched the intimate outdoor setting. They also had a Temporary Tattoo Station, such a fun experience for guests to commemorate the evening!
The reception continued the fairytale feel with laughter and connection. A true showstopper of the evening was the rustic exposed cake, adorned with flowers cascading all around it and displayed inside the gazebo. It made a statement without feeling overdone-organic, romantic, and perfectly aligned with the garden atmosphere.
From heartfelt vows to whimsical details and joyful moments shared under the trees, it was a celebration that felt full of wonder.
